Accessibility for passengers:

Please view our ATIC Accessibility Guide via this link

The boarding process can be quite challenging for those with limited mobility, and due to narrow walkways and safety regulations on board, we are unable to accommodate mobility aids such as walkers, scooters or wheelchairs on either the tender or the lugger. Additionally, we are unable to store wheelchairs onshore while the cruise is underway. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the experience, passengers will need to be mobile to board and disembark the vessel.

To board the tender you will need to walk through above ankle deep (but below knee deep) water. You will need to step up a small 2-3 step ladder into the tender (crew are here to assist). Once you are in the tender you will need to walk down a narrow aisle to a seat, there are handrails there to help you step over small 'blocks' in the aisle. Once the tender has reached the lugger, the crew will hold both boats together as you step across from the tender to the lugger. There is a small gap between the boats to watch, being mindful that on the water the vessels will move slightly.

Courtesy Transfer / Self Drive

Our courtesy bus offers return transfers between your Broome accommodation and Gantheaume Beach, the departure point for your cruise. During the journey, you'll enjoy a brief historical introduction to the Willie Creek region. Please note, our courtesy bus is not wheelchair accessible and parks directly on the beach, where there are no designated accessible parking bays.

If you prefer to self-drive, parking options include:

  • On-beach parking (suitable for 4WD vehicles): Approximately 50 metres from the tender transfer point.

  • Off-beach parking (for 2WD vehicles): Located at the Broome Turf Club, requiring a longer walk down to the beach, which may be more challenging for guests with limited mobility.

Please note that both parking locations do not have designated disability parking.

Due to the beachside nature of the cruise departure point, we are unable to store wheelchairs or mobility aids onshore during the cruise. All passengers must be mobile to board and disembark the vessel.

We aim to provide clear and accurate information to help all guests plan accordingly. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact our friendly team -
